A quieter wall can still have a visible design

For a softer look, Meadow Grass is a good place to start. Grasses and fine stems rise from the bottom of the image, with more open background toward the top. The colors sit close to beige and light brown.

Here, we'd pay particular attention to furniture height. A tall cabinet can cover much of the grass. A lower piece leaves more of the stems visible and lets the quieter upper part of the wall show above it.
