Wallpaper - Crocker Parchment, Earth Umber

Our Crocker Parchment, Earth Umber wallpaper brings a quiet, atmospheric depth to the wall through a subtle grid of parchment-style panels. Created by Wallism Studio, the design features deep umber, charcoal, and warm earth tones with soft, clouded tonal variations across each square section. Faint seams define the repeating geometric structure, giving the impression of aged paper or treated leather tiles arranged across a surface. Printed as made-to-measure, PVC-free wall murals, our wallpapers feature a subtle physical structure in the paper and are straightforward to hang.

In the room

In a living room or dedicated dining room, we like using this design across a larger uninterrupted wall where the balance between the grid structure and the mottled color shifts can be appreciated as a whole. Because the contrast between the individual panels and the darker background is gentle, the pattern can also work comfortably wrapping around multiple walls in an intimate study, library, or bedroom without feeling visually loud. In rooms with generous natural daylight, the warm undertones within the umber become more visible, while under lower evening lighting, the surface settles into a deep, enveloping backdrop.

Styling it

To complement the rich, dark ground of this mural wallpaper, we would pair it with furniture that has clean silhouettes and grounding proportions. Mid-tone or darker woods, such as walnut or smoked oak, blend naturally with the earth tones, while warm metal accents in muted brass or bronze introduce a soft counterpoint against the matte darkness of the wall. Keeping upholstery in quiet, textured neutrals or deep charcoal prevents competing with the subtle parchment grid, allowing the wallpaper to set the mood of the space.

Colour combinations

The palette of our wallpaper is built around deep earth umber, muted charcoal, and smoky taupe undertones. For adjacent walls, woodwork, and ceilings, we suggest pairing it with warm stone, deep espresso, or muted clay tones to maintain a cohesive, tonal environment. If you prefer higher contrast, soft off-white or light putty on trims and ceilings will cleanly frame the wall while highlighting the depth of the dark umber.
