Wallpaper - Sinuous Ceres, Sage Mist

Designed by Marta Cortese, our Sinuous Ceres, Sage Mist wallpaper brings the delicate visual rhythm of tall meadow grasses and delicate wildflowers into a room. The composition rises gracefully from the lower edge, layering slender ribbon-like leaves, soft meadow herbs, and airy seedheads against a quiet, warm off-white backdrop. Rendered in a muted palette of sage greens, earthy olive tones, and soft sand, the design creates a calming panoramic border effect with generous open space along the top. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure, our wallpapers are simple to hang and tailored to fit your specific wall dimensions.

In the room

Because the botanical detail is concentrated across the lower portion of the design, we find this mural wallpaper particularly well suited to spaces where you want vertical height and breathing room. In a bedroom, the foliage naturally rises behind a low headboard or bed frame, while the open space above maintains an airy feeling around wall sconces or hanging pendant lamps.

In a dining room, living area, or wide hallway, the panoramic flow works beautifully across a broad, uninterrupted wall. Placing low-profile sideboards or a tailored bench along the base allows the twisting stems and seedheads to remain visible while anchoring the room.

Styling it

To complement the organic lines and muted tones of this design, we suggest keeping surrounding furniture clean and understated:

• Choose low-profile furniture in light or warm wood tones, such as pale ash or natural oak, which echo the earthy warmth of the dried grass tones without competing with the detailed linework.
• Introduce tactile, unpatterned fabrics like washed linen drapery or a flat-weave wool rug in natural oatmeal to keep the focus on the botanical mural.
• Balance the fluid curves of the grass blades with soft, rounded ceramics and subtle matte metal finishes in brushed bronze or antique brass.

Colour combinations

The motif centers on soft sage mist, olive green, warm ochre-grey, and pale sand, all set against a gentle, creamy background.

For adjacent walls, woodwork, and ceilings, warm neutrals such as soft off-white, light ecru, or muted greige create a seamless, cohesive surround. If you prefer deeper contrast, pairing the wallpaper with earthy olive, moss green, or muted bronze on painted trim or cabinetry brings out the darker stems and adds grounded depth to the interior.
