Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Ivory

Our Ginkgo Folia wallpaper in Ivory brings together overlapping fan-shaped ginkgo leaves with delicate, radiating line work. We designed the botanical pattern as a layered, rhythmic repeat where soft ivory and warm cream tones sit against gentle beige shading. The low-contrast palette gives the dense leaf arrangement a calm, fluid presence on the wall rather than a sharp graphic edge. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design offers an understated way to introduce organic pattern into living rooms, bedrooms, or dining spaces.

In the room

Because the contrast across the leaves is soft, we see this pattern working beautifully across all four walls of a bedroom or a dedicated dining room without feeling overwhelming. In a larger living room, giving the wallpaper a wide, uninterrupted wall allows the gentle scalloped rhythm of the overlapping fans to establish a steady visual backdrop behind a sofa or low sideboard. The fine line detailing invites closer viewing in more intimate settings like a dressing room, home office, or quiet reading nook, where you can appreciate the subtle variations between the lighter foreground leaves and the shaded layers behind them. Under warm evening lighting, the creamy tones take on an inviting depth that softens the overall feel of the space.

Styling it

We would pair this botanical design with furniture that echoes its quiet, organic character. Warm wood pieces in light oak, walnut, or birch ground the ivory palette naturally without competing with the fine line work. For seating and window dressings, tactile woven fabrics in oatmeal, taupe, or soft neutral weaves add depth while keeping the space cohesive. If you want to introduce metal accents through lighting fixtures or hardware, brushed brass or warm bronze creates a refined, understated dialogue with the creamy undertones of the wallpaper.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on warm ivory, soft cream, and subtle beige shading in the background shadows. To build a harmonious room scheme around it, we suggest carrying warm off-white or soft linen tones onto adjacent painted walls, skirting boards, and window frames. If you prefer deeper contrast in surrounding upholstery or cabinetry, muted earthy hues like warm taupe, clay, olive, or soft charcoal provide a sophisticated anchor while letting the wallpaper remain the light, textural focal point.
