Designed by Sue Schlabach, our Heartland Mill wallpaper captures a tranquil rural landscape defined by an open sky, gently sloping grassland, and a vintage weather-worn wind pump. The photographic composition balances wide negative space in soft sky blue with the warm, textured detail of golden grasses along the lower horizon, accompanied by subtle birds in flight. In the room

Because the windmill rises gracefully on the left while the expansive sky and golden field stretch horizontally across the rest of the wall, we see this working exceptionally well in a living room behind a sofa or along a hallway and staircase wall. The generous open area above the grassy horizon gives the eye breathing room, making it suitable for both larger open spaces and compact rooms where you want a calm, uncrowded feeling.
