Wallpaper - Swan Reverie I

Our Swan Reverie I wallpaper brings a serene, painterly scene to life with two graceful white swans gliding across a calm, misted lake. Designed by Nikita Jariwala, the composition balances gentle, impressionistic brushwork with a soft palette of warm ivory, muted beige, soft mint green, and earthy taupe. The open expanse of water and sky creates a light, airy visual balance, while delicate reeds and distant shorelines add subtle visual depth. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure.

In the room

We love how the gentle contrast and open composition of this mural wallpaper create a quiet, expansive atmosphere. In a bedroom, placing this design behind the headboard establishes a soft, restful visual backdrop without overwhelming the space. The lower-contrast tones also make it well suited to a nursery, child's room, or guest bedroom where a gentle, dreamlike setting is desired. Because the motif features generous negative space across the upper and middle sections, it works exceptionally well on uninterrupted feature walls in living areas or dining rooms, where the swans remain the serene focal point.

Styling it

To complement the delicate, painted character of this design, we suggest pairing it with furniture that has clean, gentle lines and understated finishes. Natural light oak or painted white furniture maintains the airy feel of the room, while soft, unpatterned fabrics in cream, beige, or pale sage enhance the calm mood. Keeping surrounding accessories relatively minimal allows the artistic detail of the swans and waterscape to take center stage.

Colour combinations

The motif relies on a delicate foundation of warm white, soft beige, and subtle hints of mint and earthy brown. When choosing colors for surrounding walls, woodwork, or large textiles, soft off-white or creamy ivory creates a seamless, tonal transition. For a touch more depth, a pale muted sage or soft taupe drawn from the lake banks complements the design while keeping the overall palette light and harmonious.
