Wallpaper - Catkins

Designed by Deborah Revell, our Catkins wallpaper pairs fine, ink-drawn tree branches with hanging catkins and small dark buds against a light eggshell white background. A single horizontal brush of yellow-orange cuts across the upper portion of the composition, balanced by soft, subtle washes of pale blue and yellow that lend an open, painterly atmosphere to the surface. The design brings a quiet, minimalist botanical focus to modern interiors while keeping the overall impression light and uncluttered. In the room

We particularly like this design in spaces where you want a calm visual focal point without darkening or overpowering the room. In a living room or a dedicated meditation room, the delicate branching structure drapes naturally across an accent wall, leaving plenty of open negative space that helps the room feel airy. Because the detailed linework sits primarily in the upper and middle portions of the motif, it pairs wonderfully on walls behind lower furniture, such as a low-profile sofa, a credenza, or low seating, where the branches and hanging catkins remain fully visible.

Styling it

To complement the minimalist and Japandi-inspired aesthetic of the motif, we would keep surrounding elements clean and intentional. Low-slung furniture with simple profiles lets the artwork breathe, while light natural wood tones like ash or pale oak harmonize effortlessly with the gentle warmth of the yellow accent line. Adding quietly textured ceramics or simple black metal details can also subtly echo the ink-like precision of the botanical branches without creating competing pattern.
