Wallpaper - Mancave III

Our Mancave III wallpaper pairs mid-century Americana styling with graphic poster art, created in collaboration with Pela Studio. The design centres on an illustrated garage worker wiping his brow with a red cloth, framed by retro sunburst rays, a subtle vintage car silhouette, and bold typography reading "The Mancave: where dirty work gets done". Rendered in cherry red, faded teal, cream, and weathered brown, the motif brings a screenprint-inspired look with distressed textures to the wall. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We designed this wall mural with dedicated retreat spaces and hobby areas in mind. It works particularly well as a focal point across an accent wall in a den, home workshop, garage, or home theatre room. Because the central graphic and typography carry significant visual weight, we suggest placing it on a relatively open wall where the full composition remains legible. In a larger hobby room or basement lounge, the warm retro palette provides an anchoring presence without requiring all four walls to be covered in graphic pattern.

Styling it

The distinct 1950s garage character pairs naturally with industrial materials and vintage-inspired decor. We like combining this design with reclaimed wood shelving, exposed brick, or matte black steel furniture, which echo the rugged feel of the poster artwork. Keeping surrounding furniture relatively understated allows the central illustration and typography to stand out. Warm artificial lighting, such as exposed filament bulbs or industrial task lamps, complements the cherry red and cream tones in the motif.

Colour combinations

The palette in our wallpaper brings together rich cherry red, weathered brown, soft cream, and muted teal. To build a balanced scheme around it, consider using deep charcoal, warm off-white, or muted warm greys on adjacent painted walls and trim.
