Wallpaper - Tourtour

Created by Julia Dreams, our Tourtour wallpaper brings a cheerful, block-print-inspired floral rhythm to the wall with clear Art Nouveau influences. The design balances stylized botanical stems in warm sunflower yellow with curling cornflower blue leaves and pale oat accents, set against a soft off-white ground. Slender upright stems branch into palm-like petal sprays and softly rounded foliage, forming an airy, repeating lattice with a distinctly decorative heritage feel. Printed as a made-to-measure mural on our PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this wallpaper offers an easy way to introduce vibrant historic pattern into everyday living spaces.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working beautifully in spaces where you want visual brightness without overwhelming visual weight. In a breakfast nook, dining room, or sunny kitchen wall, the rhythmic vertical stems draw the eye upward and bring a playful, garden-inspired character to the architecture. The open spacing between motifs ensures the repeat never feels crowded, making it just as suitable for a welcoming entryway or a creative home office as it is for a nursery or children's bedroom. In larger rooms, installing it across multiple walls creates a cohesive, decorative envelope that feels both historic and fresh.

Styling it

Because Tourtour carries a graphic, folk-art-meets-Art-Nouveau character, we like pairing it with furniture that has clean profiles or gentle curves. Light wood tones such as birch, ash, or natural pine harmonize effortlessly with the warm sunflower yellow in the motif, while painted cabinetry in soft French blue or buttermilk white reinforces its European countryside appeal. Keep surrounding accents relatively simple, allowing the stylized floral silhouettes on the wall to remain the central decorative feature of the room.

Color combinations

The pattern relies on a crisp palette of sunflower yellow, cornflower blue, gentle beige, and a warm cream backdrop. When selecting paint colors for adjacent walls, baseboards, or window trim, a creamy off-white matching the background gives the room an expansive, seamless look. If you prefer more contrast, picking up the rich cornflower blue on doors or built-in shelving grounds the space, while a soft buttery yellow or muted sandy beige creates a gentle, sunny warmth.
