Wallpaper - My Best Friends Houses

Our My Best Friends Houses wallpaper brings a charming, illustrative townscape to the wall with friendly geometric shapes and a soft pastel palette. Pink, mint, and beige buildings sit side by side, detailed with distinct roof patterns of triangles, wavy lines, and dots. Arched and rectangular windows defined by crisp black outlines give every facade individual character, while gentle white clouds and small birds drift across a soft pastel gray sky. Printed as made-to-measure wallpaper on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, the design balances playful storytelling with clean, graphic composition.

In the room

We designed this pattern to create an imaginative backdrop in children's rooms, nurseries, toddler rooms, and playrooms. Because the buildings run along the lower portion beneath an open sky, the composition has natural breathing room. In a nursery or toddler room, placing the design on a main feature wall behind a crib or low bed keeps the charming rooftop details and flying birds in clear view. In a playroom, it works wonderfully across wider, uninterrupted wall areas where children can interact with the different house shapes and whimsical architectural details at eye level.

Styling it

To let the illustrative character of the wall murals stand out, we suggest pairing the wallpaper with simple, clean-lined furniture. Low wooden storage units, natural light ash or blonde wood accents, and painted white shelving complement the pastel tones without competing with the graphic line work. For surrounding textiles, soft cottons in muted neutral tones or gentle blush keep the atmosphere calm and cohesive. Keeping wall art minimal on neighboring walls allows the varied roof patterns and friendly town scene to remain the joyful centerpiece of the space.

Color combinations

The palette within our design pairs a muted pastel gray base with soft pink, cool mint, and warm beige, grounded by fine black outlines. On adjacent painted walls, we recommend soft off-whites, very light warm gray, or a pale chalky cream to maintain an open and airy feel. If you prefer to echo the building tones in woodwork or painted furniture, a muted sage or dusty pastel rose brings out the gentle character of the neighborhood without overwhelming the room.
