Wallpaper - Paris Scene Sketch I

Our Paris Scene Sketch I wallpaper by Jenaya Jackson captures the classic Parisian streetscape through expressive black ink linework on a clean white ground. We particularly like how the loose, sketch-like marks depict the Eiffel Tower rising above traditional Haussmann-style architecture, a welcoming sidewalk café, and lush trees. The monochrome high-contrast composition brings an artistic, architectural atmosphere into a room without overwhelming it with color. Like all our wallpapers, this mural design is made-to-measure according to your dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working beautifully on a main feature wall in a living room, dining area, or entryway where the full vertical height of the Parisian perspective can unfold. In a dining room, positioning the café and street perspective adjacent to your dining table creates an inviting backdrop that draws the eye upward toward the tower. The open white areas allow the sketch to breathe, making it equally fitting for a home office, bedroom, or hallway where you want visual character without visual clutter. Because the architecture and vertical lines carry strong movement, we recommend placing it on a relatively uninterrupted wall where the architectural details remain legible.

Styling it

The graphic black-and-white linework pairs naturally with classic and contemporary interior styles. We would keep the surrounding furniture tailored and let the mural carry the artistic focus of the room. Warm wood tones like natural oak or walnut balance the starkness of the black ink, while clean upholstered seating in off-white or charcoal provides a grounded, timeless setting. A simple bistro-style table and slender black metal accents can subtly echo the café details in the sketch without turning the room into a literal theme.

Color combinations

The wallpaper itself consists purely of deep charcoal-black ink on a crisp white backdrop. Around this monochrome foundation, we suggest pairing adjacent walls with soft warm white, chalky greige, or soft stone paint colors to soften the overall contrast. If you prefer introducing accent colors through surrounding upholstery or cabinetry, muted tones such as olive green, dusty terracotta, or navy blue sit comfortably alongside the black-and-white drawing while preserving its sophisticated architectural feel.
