Wallpaper - Boho Peacock Feathers, Grass & Butter

Our Boho Peacock Feathers, Grass & Butter wallpaper, created in collaboration with RNM Arts, brings a rich and rhythmic organic pattern to the wall. The design features sweeping, painterly peacock plumes in vibrant grass green, olive, and chartreuse tones, set against a solid black backdrop. Golden butter-yellow eyes anchor each feather, detailed with fine graphic strokes and accompanied by small sunburst or circular tribal-style motifs scattered throughout the background. Made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design offers an expressive bohemian feel with crisp visual contrast.

In the room

The dense, fluid movement of the feathers makes this pattern an eye-catching backdrop in spaces where you want depth and character. In an entryway or powder room, the dark background creates an intimate, enveloping atmosphere while the bright green and butter-yellow details keep the walls vibrant. In a larger bedroom or living room, we see this working particularly well on an accent wall behind a headboard or main sofa, allowing the upward flow of the plumage to draw the eye upward without overpowering the rest of the interior.

Styling it

Because the motif has strong graphic energy and high contrast, we suggest balancing it with grounded, natural textures. Warm wood furniture, such as honey oak, teak, or rattan, complements the earthy undertones of the greens and golds. For textiles, matte woven fabrics in neutral oatmeal, warm linen, or deep charcoal keep the space calm, letting the wallpaper remain the focal point. Soft, warm ambient lighting in the evening also brings out the golden-yellow elements against the dark ground.

Color combinations

The wallpaper is built on a rich palette of grassy greens, olive tones, buttery yellow, and deep black, accented by subtle touches of pale sky blue within the feather strands. When choosing paint for adjoining walls or trim, off-blacks and deep charcoal greens create a seamless, dramatic look. If you prefer a lighter contrast, warm cream, soft buttermilk, or an earthy moss green echo the tones in the feathers while keeping the surrounding room bright and balanced.
