Wallpaper - Hello Beetle

Our Hello Beetle wallpaper brings the fine details of garden life onto a grand scale through macro photography by Micael Widell. The design captures a beetle with an orange-brown body and black head perched atop a white daisy, set against a soft, blurred green backdrop. Grains of pollen and the vivid sunflower yellow of the flower center create a vibrant focal point that balances delicate natural forms with photographic clarity. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this photographic mural working especially well in spaces meant for focus or creative thought, such as a home study, study area, or home art studio. Because the close-up composition features a distinct subject surrounded by a gentle, soft-focus background, it functions naturally on an accent wall behind a desk, reading chair, or work table. In a compact study or creative workspace, placing the wallpaper on a main wall gives the room an immediate connection to nature without cluttering the visual field. The wide distribution of gentle green tones across the backdrop also allows the design to sit comfortably in rooms with varying light levels, keeping the space grounded during the day and warm under evening lamplight.

Styling it

When working with large-scale photographic mural wallpapers like this, we suggest keeping the surrounding decor clean and unfussy so the macro details remain the hero of the room.

• Pair the wallpaper with simple furniture in natural mid-tone woods or clean painted surfaces, avoiding overly ornate pieces that might compete with the crisp photographic lines.
• Introduce understated desktop accessories or shelving in matte black or charcoal to pick up the deep tone of the beetle's head and antennae.
• Keep surrounding textiles, such as window coverings or seat cushions, in solid, textured neutrals like off-white, oatmeal, or muted olive to complement the soft green background.

Color combinations

The wallpaper is anchored by the bright sunflower yellow of the daisy center, the orange-brown tones of the beetle, crisp white petals, and a broad spectrum of soft, diffuse greens.

To create a balanced interior, we recommend drawing from the lighter tones in the image for your surrounding surfaces. A clean, soft off-white on adjacent walls will keep the room feeling bright and open, echoing the daisy petals. For trim, cabinetry, or painted furniture, a muted moss green or warm taupe creates a cohesive, natural transition that links seamlessly to the background tones of the photograph.
