Wallpaper - Bathing Beauties II

Our Bathing Beauties II wallpaper by Anne Tavoletti captures a breezy seaside moment with loose, expressive watercolor-inspired strokes. The composition centers on a figure resting on a warm sandy beach, styled with a wide yellow sun hat and a classic blue swimsuit as the sea stretches toward soft brown coastal hills under an open sky. We love how the sketchy line work and fluid paint washes give the landscape an airy, relaxed character. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, our mural wallpapers bring an effortless sense of summer ease to any wall.

In the room

Because this design acts as a picturesque narrative scene, we like using it on an accent wall where the beach horizon and figure have room to breathe. In a primary bathroom or powder room, the coastal subject creates a fresh, tranquil backdrop beside a vanity or freestanding bathtub. We also see our wall murals fitting naturally into a vacation home living area or guest bedroom, anchoring the main seating zone or the wall behind a headboard without overwhelming the surrounding space.

In rooms with plenty of daylight, the soft transitions between the aquamarine waters, sand, and sky stay crisp and luminous. For more compact bathrooms or narrow guest rooms, giving this wallpaper an uninterrupted wall allows the breezy coastal perspective to open up the room visually.

Styling it

The breezy, mid-century resort aesthetic of the artwork pairs naturally with coastal, Palm Beach, or relaxed contemporary interiors. We suggest keeping surrounding furnishings light in scale to balance the loose, illustrated lines of the design.

• Bring in light-toned woods or woven rattan and cane to echo the warm tones of the sandy beach and sun hat.
• Keep upholstered pieces and linens in crisp whites, soft ecru, or washed cotton to let the blue watercolor wash stand out as the primary focal point.
• Balance the breezy illustrative style with simple, modern fixtures in brushed brass or matte white that complement the vintage-inspired charm.

Color combinations

The artwork features a harmonious coastal palette of aquamarine blue, ocean navy, pale sunny yellow, soft sky, and warm sandy browns. When building a color scheme around our wallpapers, we recommend pulling the sandy beige or soft off-white from the background onto adjacent walls, baseboards, and trim to keep the space open and airy.

If you want to introduce deeper accents through cabinetry, doors, or decorative pillows, picking up the rich blue from the swimsuit or the warm ochre of the hat provides a thoughtful, grounded contrast.
