Wallpaper - Teddy II

Our Teddy II wallpaper brings a sweet, storybook warmth to children's spaces through gentle illustration and soft pattern. Designed by Yvette St. Amant, the motif features a soft brown teddy bear seated calmly with open arms and a delicate powder blue bow, framed within a dashed oval vignette. Behind the central figure, a subtle light blue and white plaid pattern provides a structured yet airy backdrop, balancing the painted illustration with geometric rhythm. Printed made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a light, subtle paper structure, this design offers a timeless storybook feel that works wonderfully across a nursery or playroom.

In the room

We love this wallpaper on a feature wall in a nursery, toddler room, or playroom where the central teddy bear illustration can anchor the room. Placed behind a crib or low bed, the oval vignette creates a natural focal point without feeling visually overwhelming. Because the background uses a restrained powder blue and white grid, the pattern also works well across multiple walls in a compact bedroom without making the room feel enclosed. In a dedicated play space, pairing the wallpaper with low-profile shelving lets the illustrated bear stay in clear view, giving the space an inviting, childhood-inspired character.

Styling it

The gentle pastel palette and classic cottage feel make this design easy to style with understated, timeless nursery furnishings. We would pair our wallpaper with painted white furniture or pale, natural wood to keep the overall atmosphere light and welcoming.

Simple, unpatterned textiles work best alongside the plaid background, allowing the illustrated bear to stand out as the primary decorative accent. For decorative accents, soft brushed metals or simple ceramic lamps in warm cream tones complement the vintage illustration style without introducing unnecessary visual competition.

Color combinations

The wallpaper's core palette combines gentle powder blue, crisp white, and the warm, soft brown of the illustrated bear. When choosing paint for adjacent walls or painted trim, we suggest soft off-whites, creamy ivory, or a very pale sky blue that draws directly from the plaid grid. If you want to introduce warmer notes through furniture or textiles, sandy beige, warm taupe, and soft oat tones pick up the bear's fur nicely while maintaining a quiet, cohesive nursery scheme.
