Wallpaper - Solis

Our Solis wallpaper sets all eight planets across a deep dark blue backdrop, framed by the warm glow of the sun extending from the left edge. We designed each celestial body with its own visual personality, from the warm orange tones of Mercury and the swirling blue layers of Neptune to Earth in soft green-blue hues, striped Jupiter, and Saturn with its distinctive rings. The clean, illustrative character brings clear structure and graphic energy to the wall. Like all Wallism mural wallpapers, this design is made to measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture.

In the room

Because the planets are arranged in a horizontal progression across the dark backdrop, we see this working particularly well along a wider, uninterrupted wall. In a kids' bedroom, playroom, or nursery, placing the design behind a low bed, crib, or toy storage lets the full planetary line remain visible and active. The deep blue ground anchors the space visually, making it a natural choice for an accent wall where the vibrant planet tones can act as the main focal point.

In a dedicated study or teenage room, the balance of deep background and graphic color creates an engaging atmosphere without feeling cluttered. The contrast between the dark base and the bright planetary details works nicely across rooms with good daylight, where the distinct shades on each planet surface remain crisp and readable throughout the day.

Styling it

To let the graphic elements of the wallpaper lead the room, we suggest keeping larger surrounding furniture relatively simple in shape and finish. Pale birch, natural ash, or painted white storage pieces contrast cleanly with the dark blue background and keep the overall room feeling open.

For surrounding textiles and accents, you can pull directly from the planet palette. A mustard yellow throw, rust-toned cushions, or navy bedding echo the colors within the mural without introducing competing patterns. Sticking to solid fabrics or very subtle textures ensures the wall murals remain the primary visual feature in the room.

Color combinations

The design is built on a deep dark blue foundation, lifted by bright yellow sun flares, rich orange and rust tones, dusty greens, and soft sky blues. When painting adjacent walls, a warm off-white or soft pale gray provides a light, balanced contrast that keeps the room bright. For a cozier, more enveloping feel, bringing a complementary deep navy onto trim or neighboring walls extends the cosmic atmosphere across the entire space.
