Wallpaper - Deep Movement II

Created by Yvette St. Amant, our Deep Movement II wallpaper brings a sweeping, sculptural presence to the wall through an abstract flow of painterly textures. The composition centers on a curving pathway of soft stone-gray and taupe, framed by dynamic, arching brushwork in creamy off-white and pale gray that creates a sense of fluid motion. What we particularly like about this design is the rich visual depth within the neutral palette, offering an expressive modern accent without overwhelming color contrast. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it offers an effortless way to introduce artistic movement to your interior.

In the room

The sweeping, vertical motion in this design makes it especially compelling on a main accent wall in a living room, bedroom, or dining area. Because the movement arcs outward from the center, we recommend giving the wallpaper a wide, relatively uninterrupted wall where the full curve and textural brush strokes can be appreciated without being heavily obscured by tall bookcases or bulky cabinetry. In an open-plan space or behind a low-profile sofa, it creates an elegant focal point that anchors the seating zone while keeping the overall atmosphere light and expansive.

Styling it

To complement the fluid lines and neutral tones of the wallpaper, we suggest pairing it with clean, contemporary furniture that has gentle curves or simple geometric profiles.

• Choose seating and case goods in muted, warm neutrals or light-toned woods like natural oak or bleached ash to keep the room feeling cohesive and airy.
• Incorporate subtle textural contrasts through boucle, matte ceramics, or brushed metal accents in warm brass or soft black to ground the lighter tones of the motif.
• Keep wall decor minimal on adjacent walls so the graphic movement of the mural remains the primary visual statement in the space.

Color combinations

Our wallpaper is built around a refined palette of warm stone-gray, soft taupe, chalky off-white, and pale silver-gray. When choosing colors for surrounding walls, trim, and cabinetry, we suggest continuing these neutral undertones. Warm alabaster, light greige, or soft putty on adjacent walls will create a calm, seamless transition. If you prefer more definition, deep charcoal or muted olive accents in surrounding textiles and decor provide a striking contrast while letting the pale movement of the wallpaper stand out.
