Wallpaper - Folk Botanicals I

Our Folk Botanicals I wallpaper, designed by Yvette St. Amant, brings together ink-drawn black stems, elongated green leaves, and soft white buds set against a calm, warm tan background. We particularly like the balance in this graphic floral design, where flat illustrative shapes and clear line work create an organic, uncluttered character on the wall. The rhythmic spacing keeps the pattern open and airy while maintaining enough visual presence to anchor a room. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure according to your specific wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture.

In the room

We see this design working naturally across a main bedroom wall or behind a low sofa in a living room, where the vertical botanical forms have plenty of height to breathe. Because the tan ground is gentle and the contrast remains soft, the pattern also works nicely in a dedicated meditation room or reading area where you want a grounded, visual focus without visual clutter. In larger rooms, you can easily use it on a broad, uninterrupted accent wall, while in more compact spaces, the open spacing ensures the motif never overpowers the surroundings.

Styling it

The clean lines and earthy character of our Folk Botanicals I mural wallpapers pair effortlessly with organic modern and contemporary interiors. We suggest styling around the design with simple, intentional pieces rather than heavy ornamentation:

• Choose low-profile furniture in pale woods or light neutrals to keep the lower half of the wall uncluttered and let the vertical stems stand out.
• Introduce unvarnished ceramics, matte stoneware, or lightly woven upholstery to echo the illustrative, ink-drawn feel of the botanical shapes.
• Incorporate subtle black accents, such as a slender floor lamp or a minimalist picture frame on an adjoining wall, to pick up on the graphic black stems.

Color combinations

The palette within the wallpaper centers on earthy green foliage, crisp white accents, and sharp black stems resting on a warm tan backdrop. For neighboring painted walls and architectural trim, we recommend pulling directly from the light tan undertones with warm, stony neutrals or gentle linen tones. If you prefer deeper contrast in surrounding decor, muted olive greens or soft charcoal accents will highlight the illustrated botanical details without clashing with the wallpaper's earthy base.
