Wallpaper - Spring Nectar VI

Our Spring Nectar VI wallpaper by Lisa Audit captures a solitary hummingbird suspended mid-flight against a deep, dark backdrop. The painted-looking motif highlights feathered brushstrokes across the outstretched wings and body, blending soft sage greens, muted slate blues, charcoal, and warm earthy taupe tones. The dramatic contrast between the illuminated bird and the solid dark canvas gives the composition a striking, intimate presence on the wall. Made to measure for your exact wall dimensions, our PVC-free wallpapers bring a balanced, artful focus to interior spaces while remaining straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of the strong central focus and dark surrounding space, we see this wall mural working particularly well as an accent wall in a bedroom or a dedicated study. Positioned behind a headboard or a low desk, the wingspan has ample breathing room to stand out without competing with surrounding architectural details. In a dining room or an entryway, the dark field creates a cozy, enveloping atmosphere that draws the eye directly to the delicate brushwork of the motif.

Styling it

To complement the rich, dark ground and the painted texture of the artwork, we suggest balancing the space with tactile natural elements and low-profile furnishings.

• Ground the room with warm wood tones, such as oiled walnut or muted mid-tone oak, to echo the subtle earthy hues within the bird's feathers.
• Choose understated upholstery and drapery in off-white, oatmeal, or soft grey linen to provide a gentle, light contrast against the deep wall mural.
• Incorporate subtle matte black or antique bronze hardware to pick up the deeper charcoal shades of the background without introducing harsh glare.

Color combinations

The artwork features a palette of deep charcoal, soft olive and sage green, dusty blue-grey, warm taupe, and off-white. When choosing paint for adjoining walls or woodwork, consider deep charcoal or soft off-white to either embrace the dramatic mood or frame it with a clean border. Muted sage greens, dusty blue tones, and warm pebble greys also harmonize beautifully with the painted feather details.
