Wallpaper - Circle Swatches

Our Circle Swatches wallpaper, created by designer Krystal Adams, features an orderly grid of hand-painted watercolor circles set against a clean white ground. What we particularly like about this design is the varied texture inside each swatch, where delicate pigment blooms, granulations, and subtle tonal shifts bring warmth to a structured graphic layout. The palette balances soft terracotta, dusty pink, and warm ochre alongside muted charcoal, slate blue, and cool gray. Made to measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface texture, this wallpaper offers an easy way to bring painterly rhythm into your space.

In the room

We see this design working well in living rooms, home offices, creative studios, and bedrooms where you want an organized pattern that still feels soft and artistic. Because the grid creates a steady, repetitive rhythm, it holds up nicely across a wide uninterrupted wall, behind a low sofa, or framing a desk. In a smaller entryway or dressing room, the repeating dots add graphic interest without overwhelming the room, especially since the white background keeps the overall feeling open and airy.

Styling it

The balanced mix of warm and cool watercolor tones gives you plenty of flexibility when decorating around this design. We would pair it with clean-lined mid-century or contemporary furniture in natural blonde wood or light ash, which echoes the organic feel of the painted circles. To keep the visual focus on the artwork, simple linen textiles and matte ceramic decor in muted neutral shades work particularly well.

Color combinations

The artwork brings together a nuanced palette of warm and cool shades, including terracotta, blush, sand, charcoal, dusty blue, and sage-tinted gray. To complement the wallpaper, you could pull the warm terracotta or soft peach into decorative accents, cushions, or adjacent painted trim. If you prefer a cooler look, surrounding walls painted in a soft slate gray or chalky warm white will highlight the darker swatches and frame the pattern crisply.
