Wallpaper - Sepia Guitar I

Our Sepia Guitar I wallpaper by Deborah Revell captures the headstock, tuning pegs, and upper fretboard of an electric guitar in a striking photographic composition. Set against a clean, warm off-white backdrop, the graphic silhouette of the dark instrument and metallic hardware creates an immediate focal point. We love how the subtle sepia and monochrome grading brings out the delicate reflections along the strings and chrome details without overwhelming the space. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is custom made-to-measure, PVC-free, and printed on paper with a subtle surface structure that hangs straightforwardly.

In the room

We see this design working exceptionally well in a music room, creative studio, home office, or a modern living room accent wall. Because the composition centers on vertical lines and strong negative space around the upper headstock, it brings height to a room without feeling cluttered. On an uninterrupted wall behind a desk, workstation, or low media console, the graphic symmetry has ample space to breathe. In spaces with good natural light, the subtle gradation in the warm background and the fine highlights on the guitar hardware become especially distinct.

Styling it

To complement the graphic, photographic nature of our wall murals, we suggest pairing this design with clean-lined contemporary or mid-century modern furniture. Low-profile credenzas, matte black metal accents, or simple warm wood elements like walnut echo the tonal balance of the instrument without competing for attention. Keeping surrounding wall decor minimal allows the strong vertical motif to act as the primary visual anchor in the room.

Color combinations

The artwork centers on deep charcoal, sepia-toned blacks, metallic silver highlights, and a warm cream background. When choosing surrounding wall colors or large furnishings, we recommend pulling from these existing tones. Off-whites with a warm undertone create a seamless, cohesive backdrop on adjacent walls, while charcoal and deep slate accents reinforce the bold lines of the headstock. For a warmer touch, muted tan or natural leather tones integrate effortlessly with the subtle sepia quality of the print.
