Wallpaper - Sepia Guitar II

Our Sepia Guitar II wallpaper features a close crop of an electric guitar, highlighting the figured wood grain on the body, delicate fretboard inlays, and sleek metal strings. Designed by Deborah Revell, the composition relies on an off-white backdrop that lets the warm gray, charcoal, and sepia tones of the instrument stand out cleanly. The vertical symmetry and graphic clarity give the motif a focused, photographic presence. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is custom made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure, making it straightforward to hang.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working especially well in a music room, home studio, hobby space, or a dedicated feature wall in a living room. Because the vertical fretboard draws the eye upward, it feels particularly at home on walls with standard or higher ceilings. Placing this mural wallpaper on an accent wall behind a low sofa, desk, or media console allows the central graphic to remain prominent without competing with tall storage units. In a study or entryway, giving the motif an open, relatively uninterrupted surface helps the instrument's detailed contours anchor the space.

Styling it

To complement the photographic clarity and warm monochrome tones, we suggest keeping surrounding elements uncluttered. Clean-lined furniture in matte black or dark charcoal mirrors the pickups and fretboard, while smooth painted finishes prevent the room from feeling visually busy. If you introduce wood accents, choosing dark-stained timber or muted ash echoes the grain visible in the guitar body without clashing with the subtle sepia undertones.

Color combinations

The artwork centers on a nuanced palette of warm off-white, soft sepia, slate gray, and deep charcoal. For adjacent painted walls and trim, we recommend soft warm whites, pale greige, or muted ash tones to maintain an airy atmosphere around the mural. Alternatively, deeper charcoal or graphite on baseboards or nearby cabinetry can frame the design boldly and emphasize the darker values in the guitar's finish.
