Wallpaper - Cheeky Cheetah I

Our Cheeky Cheetah I wallpaper, created with artist Yvette St. Amant, captures a playful and characterful interior scene centered on a spotted leopard lounging across a light blue tufted sofa. Painted in an expressive, illustrative style, the composition surrounds the central figure with lush potted greenery, an ornate gold-framed picture, and an olive-green patterned background with deep blue floral scrolls. We produce our wallpapers made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, giving the illustrated brushstrokes a grounded, tactile presence on the wall.

In the room

Because of the strong central subject and illustrative detail, we see this wall mural working best as a dedicated focal point. In a living room, dining space, or eclectic home office, giving it a primary, uninterrupted wall allows the full scene to unfold without feeling cut off. The mix of warm ochre, spotted patterning, and cool powder blue makes it an engaging backdrop behind lower-profile furniture such as a credenza, a clean-lined bench, or a low-backed sofa.

Styling it

We recommend letting the wallpaper carry the decorative narrative of the room while keeping larger surrounding furniture relatively simple. Tailored mid-century seating or clean contemporary silhouettes balance the painterly, vintage-inspired charm of the artwork. Introducing natural indoor plants nearby helps extend the leafy motifs into the physical space, while warm brass lighting or gilded accents can quietly echo the ornate frame in the painting.

Color combinations

The artwork brings together a rich palette of tawny ochre, warm gold, sky blue, olive green, and deep midnight navy, alongside pops of berry red from the potted planter. To create a cohesive look around the mural wallpapers, pair it with wall paint in soft muted taupe, warm linen, or dusty olive. For a bolder, moodier setting, pulling out the dark indigo blue or rich forest green on adjoining walls or trim creates a rich, enveloping atmosphere.
