Wallpaper - Pumpkins and Paws V

Our Pumpkins and Paws V wallpaper by Laura Marshall brings a playful seasonal character to the wall with its watercolor-inspired Halloween motifs. The composition centers on a black cat sitting atop a pumpkin alongside hand-painted elements including a small ghost, a skull, a witch's hat, a candle, autumn leaves, a spider web, and a flying bat, framed around the central greeting "happy halloween." Rendered in soft sienna, warm brown, muted orange, and pastel tones against a light backdrop, this design offers an inviting, friendly approach to holiday decor. Our mural wallpapers are made-to-measure according to your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

We see this design working naturally as an accent wall in a kids' room, toddler room, or playroom. The central typography and surrounding watercolor illustrations give it a clear focal point, which means it works especially well on an uninterrupted wall area where the full arrangement remains visible, such as behind a low play table, toy storage bench, or a child's bed. Because the palette relies on warm sienna, soft brown, and pastel accents rather than harsh contrasts, the pattern introduces holiday charm without overwhelming a compact room. In larger open play spaces, it anchors a dedicated creative corner while maintaining a light, open atmosphere across the surrounding room.

Styling it

To complement the gentle watercolor character and autumnal palette of our wallpaper, we would keep the surrounding furniture grounded in warm, understated materials.

• Pair the wall with warm wood furniture, such as light birch or natural pine play tables and shelving, which echo the earthy sienna and brown tones of the motif.
• Choose textiles in plain, soft textures like unbleached cotton or washed beige canvas for floor cushions and window treatments, letting the illustrative artwork remain the focus.
• Add simple decorative accents in muted pumpkin or dusty charcoal to pick up the hand-drawn details in the artwork without introducing competing visual patterns.

Color combinations

The wallpaper features a palette built around warm sienna, earthy browns, soft black, and muted pastel undertones on a gentle off-white base. When planning surrounding wall paint, cabinetry, or trim, warm cream and soft beige provide a seamless, calm backdrop that lets the illustrated elements stand out. For adjacent walls or millwork where you want a bit more depth, a dusty terracotta, muted pumpkin tone, or soft ochre draws out the autumn foliage in the print. If you prefer a cooler, grounding contrast, a muted charcoal or soft slate gray works nicely alongside the black cat, witch's hat, and bat illustrations.
