Our Shape Shifter, Pastel Pop wallpaper brings together layered organic shapes and painterly brush marks in a soft palette of dusty rose, mint green, sky blue, muted lavender, and warm peach. The abstract collage composition creates a fluid, artistic rhythm across the wall, offering a fresh decorative focal point for living spaces, bedrooms, or creative work corners. Like all Wallism mural wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure for your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical paper structure that is easy to hang.
About the design
In this design by Irina Chikati, broad rounded blocks of color overlap with energetic brushstrokes and smaller graphic marks to create an engaging visual collage. We especially like the way the translucent layers appear to interact, giving the surface a sense of depth and movement without feeling cluttered. The contrast between soft pastel areas and deeper slate blue elements gives the pattern a balanced rhythm that holds interest both from across the room and up close.
In the room
We see this design working particularly well on a main feature wall in a living room, where the scale of the abstract shapes has plenty of room to unfold. In a bedroom, placing it behind the headboard brings color and personality into the room while maintaining a gentle, restful atmosphere. It is also well suited to a home office or creative studio, where the expressive forms and fresh tones introduce an uplifting backdrop behind a desk. For hallways and entryways with good natural light, the airy palette helps maintain an open feel across narrower walls.
Styling it
Because our wallpaper has a lively geometric character, we recommend pairing it with furniture that has simple, clean silhouettes. Light to medium wood tones, such as ash or natural birch, harmonize naturally with the pastel shapes. Painted furniture in soft putty or off-white keeps the surrounding space calm, while matte black hardware or brushed metallic accents can provide a sharp, contemporary contrast to the painterly artwork.
Color combinations
The wallpaper brings together mint green, soft lavender, dusty rose, peach, pale yellow, and slate blue against a cool neutral ground. When choosing paint for adjoining walls and trim, we like using a soft warm white or light greige to keep the overall look cohesive and bright. For larger textiles, rugs, or upholstery, picking up the deeper blue-grey or soft terracotta tones from the pattern helps ground the room and tie your decorating scheme together.
