Wallpaper - Ferns in Glass Vase II

Our Ferns in Glass Vase II wallpaper, designed by Danhui Nai, features three fresh green fern fronds with delicate red stems gathered in a tall, clear glass vessel. Set against a warm, oat yellow background layered with subtle floral motifs and soft gold leaf accents, the watercolor-inspired still life brings an artistic botanical presence to the wall. The composition balances quiet vertical movement with an earthy, vintage-inspired palette. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design offers a refined focal point for your interior.

In the room

We love this design on a wall where the still life composition can be appreciated from a slight distance. In a hallway or staircase wall, the vertical fronds naturally echo the height of the space and create a welcoming focal point as you move between rooms. The botanical motif also works beautifully in a powder room, where the warm oat background and detailed foliage add intimacy without overwhelming compact proportions. Because the artwork relies on fine watercolor-like details and delicate stems, we recommend keeping the wall relatively clear of tall furniture so the vase and complete leaf forms remain fully visible.

Styling it

The classical, heritage character of the artwork pairs naturally with traditional or vintage-leaning interiors. We would balance the warm oat and gold tones with antique bronze or darkened brass metal accents on hardware and lighting. For surrounding furnishings, warm wood pieces or painted cabinetry in soft, muted neutrals let the botanical illustration stand out as the central feature. Keep surrounding decorative objects simple so the intricate watercolor foliage remains the visual focus of the space.

Color combinations

The wallpaper is built on an earthy foundation of oat yellow and soft gold, contrasted by fresh botanical greens, gentle pink tones, and the deep red of the fern stems. To build a harmonious room scheme, we suggest pairing it with adjacent walls painted in warm cream, muted parchment, or a soft linen tone to extend the light background. For millwork, trim, or nearby furniture, deep olive green or rich terracotta echoes the organic shades within the leaves and stems, grounding the space while highlighting the warmth of the print.
