Wallpaper - Paper Cut

Our Paper Cut wallpaper brings together layered geometric shapes with clean diagonal lines, creating an architectural composition inspired by cut paper and modernist abstraction. The design balances deep midnight navy, rich teal, and vibrant aquamarine blue, creating an illusion of depth and dimensional overlapping planes across the wall. Its bold scale and crisp angles give modern interiors a tranquil yet distinct visual focus. Like all Wallism wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure according to your wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure.

In the room

We see this geometric design working particularly well on a main accent wall in a contemporary home office or study. The strong diagonal planes add visual energy and structure behind a desk or workspace without creating distracting clutter. Because the visual scale is broad and architectural, giving our wallpaper an uninterrupted wall allows the complete geometry and layered depth to unfold naturally. In a hallway or staircase area, the sharp directional angles interact dynamically with the movement of the space, creating an engaging transition between rooms.

Styling it

To balance the bold geometric planes of our design, we recommend pairing it with clean-lined furniture and restrained accents. Minimalist desks or shelving in matte black metal or warm light wood create an intentional, structured look that complements the sharp angles. Keeping nearby decor simple allows the dynamic color blocks to serve as the primary visual feature of the room. Matte finishes and textured natural fabrics on office seating or window treatments help soften the clean lines while maintaining a composed, contemporary atmosphere.

Color combinations

The motif itself features a cool, monochromatic spectrum ranging from deep navy and teal to vivid aquamarine blue. To create a seamless transition around the room, pair this design with adjacent walls painted in soft crisp white, cool muted gray, or a deep slate that echoes the darkest blue planes in the print. For furniture and decor, neutral tones like charcoal, off-white, or warm tan leather provide an attractive grounding contrast against the cool blue tones.
