Wallpaper - Spring Pink I

Designed by Pamela Munger, our Spring Pink I wallpaper brings a loose, expressive watercolor floral still life to the wall. The composition centers on soft pink, warm yellow, and peach blossoms arranged with earthy green foliage in a grounded grey-taupe bowl, set against an off-white background with a pale wash table surface. What we particularly like is the fluid watercolor-like appearance, where soft edges, bleeding pigments, and visible paper grain textures give the motif an airy, artistic character. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this floral design makes an inviting statement in bedrooms, dining nooks, and relaxed living spaces.

In the room

Because of its expressive scale and painterly arrangement, we see this wall mural working particularly well on an accent wall behind a bed, sofa, or dining table where the complete floral composition can be viewed without too much visual interruption. In a smaller guest room or entryway, it creates an immediate sense of warmth and artistic personality without overwhelming the room, especially when the surrounding walls remain understated. The gentle tonal shifts between the rose, soft yellow, and sage tones show beautifully in rooms with balanced natural daylight, while warmer evening lamplight enhances the earthy base of the bowl and foliage.

Styling it

To complement the free-flowing watercolor character of the design, we suggest pairing it with clean, uncluttered furnishings that let the artwork take center stage.

• Warm wood furniture, such as natural ash, birch, or light oak, echoes the organic feel of the botanical motif and balances the pale background.
• Simple ceramic decor, matte pottery, and textured woven textiles in neutral tones create a relaxed, collected interior without competing with the floral forms.
• Soft linen drapery in off-white, oatmeal, or muted blush keeps the window treatments light and airy, allowing natural light to highlight the painted washes.

Color combinations

The artwork features a harmonious palette of dusty pink, peach, butter yellow, olive and sage green, grounded by warm grey and soft taupe against an off-white field. For surrounding painted walls and woodwork, we recommend pulling out the gentle neutral tones from the background, such as warm off-white, pale linen, or a delicate greige. If you prefer a richer, more enveloping feel, subtle sage green or a soft terracotta tone drawn from the petals will tie adjoining rooms together naturally.
