Wallpaper - Paris - Powerful Moon Series

Our Paris - Powerful Moon wallpaper by Wai Collective brings together a striking architectural skyline and an expressive celestial scene. A massive glowing moon rises over the dark silhouette of Paris, where the Eiffel Tower and classic Parisian rooftops anchor the base of the view. Above the city, the night sky swirls with deep purple, violet, and midnight blue watercolor washes, punctuated by clusters of bright white stars. What we particularly like is the balance between the crisp architectural silhouettes along the river and the fluid, dreamlike movement across the upper sky. Printed to order on made-to-measure, PVC-free wallpaper paper, this design provides a rich visual focal point for personal living spaces.

In the room

Because the motif carries significant visual weight along the horizon and a grand scale in the upper half, we think this design works best on an uninterrupted feature wall. In a bedroom, placing it directly behind the bed headboard gives the room an atmospheric backdrop where the moon and night sky can frame the sleeping area. For a living room or dining room, positioning the wallpaper along a main accent wall allows the full width of the Parisian skyline to remain visible without being broken up by tall storage units.

The dark purple and indigo palette also makes this mural wallpaper a natural fit for a home office, study, or teenage room where an imaginative, focused environment is welcome. In spaces with soft ambient lighting or dimmer switches, the deep watercolor blues and purples take on an intimate, cocooning character as the sun goes down.

Styling it

To balance the dramatic colors and celestial motif, we recommend pairing this wallpaper with furniture that features clean, modern lines and grounded tones. Low-profile seating in charcoal, deep navy, or dark charcoal grey helps echo the silhouetted skyline without competing with the movement in the sky.

Warm metallic details like brass or bronze hardware and lighting fixtures complement the golden glow of the moon. When introducing textiles, we suggest keeping rugs and curtains simple and textured rather than heavily patterned, allowing the rich purple tones of the wall mural to lead the room's visual story.

Color combinations

The wallpaper's palette is grounded in deep indigo, violet, and purple, paired with dark silhouette charcoal and the warm luminous tones of the central moon.

Around the room, we suggest using off-white or soft warm grey on adjacent walls and trim to create a clean boundary that frames the mural. For a moodier, more enveloping interior, deep slate grey, muted navy, or plum paint on nearby walls can help seamlessly extend the atmospheric qualities of the design throughout the entire space.
