Wallpaper - What I Saw

Designed by Mike Schick, our What I Saw wallpaper brings an expressive, painterly landscape of color to the wall. Broad sweeps of blush pink, soft peach, and warm yellow rise from the lower section, balanced by cooler brushstrokes of teal, soft green, and slate blue floating against an airy off-white background. The composition has the visual character of an abstract canvas with visible brushwork and fluid color blending. In the room

In a bedroom, we like this design placed behind the headboard where the warmer pinks and peaches anchor the lower part of the wall, while the lighter upper area keeps the space feeling open and airy. Because the darker teal and blue brushmarks sit higher up in the composition, low-profile furniture leaves the full interplay of cool and warm strokes completely visible.

The soft, abstract quality also works naturally in a nursery or a dedicated meditation space. On a larger uninterrupted feature wall, the sweeping brushstrokes have room to breathe, creating a calming focal point without overwhelming the surrounding room.

Styling it

Because this design carries significant painterly movement and color variation, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture clean-lined and quiet.
