Wallpaper - Burnt Horizon ll

Our Burnt Horizon II wallpaper, created by Nikita Jariwala, translates an abstract desert landscape into layered horizontal sweeps of earth tones, soft peach, ochre, and warm sand. What we particularly like about this design is the painterly brushwork and visible canvas texture in the artwork, giving the rolling hills and distant horizons a gentle, atmospheric depth. Printed made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design brings an organic, grounding character to any wall.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working particularly well in spaces where you want a calm, grounded backdrop with visual warmth. In a living room or bedroom, placing it along a main wall behind a low sofa or a headboard allows the layered landscape composition to stretch out naturally across the room. Because the visual rhythm moves in wide, gentle horizontal bands, it helps emphasize the width of the room without feeling crowded. The earthy palette also makes it a lovely choice for a dining room or a quiet home office, where the soft gradations of color create a welcoming, considered atmosphere throughout the day.

Styling it

When styling around this design, we recommend leaning into warm, tactile textures and relaxed silhouettes that complement its organic, painterly quality.

• Pair the wallpaper with low-profile furniture in warm woods or painted neutral finishes to keep sightlines clear across the horizontal bands of the landscape.
• Bring in textured textiles such as slubbed cotton, boucle, or soft woven throws in creamy off-white, taupe, or muted terracotta to echo the tonal shifts in the artwork.
• Keep wall decor minimal on adjacent walls, allowing the brushwork and layered earthen tones of the mural wallpaper to serve as the primary visual anchor in the space.

Color combinations

The design itself is built on a rich, sun-baked palette of warm ochre, burnt umber, sandy beige, soft desert peach, and subtle washes of hazy off-white. For surrounding surfaces, warm neutral paint colors such as creamy ivory, soft greige, or pale linen will create a seamless, cohesive transition. If you prefer deeper contrast, accents in dark chocolate brown, warm rust, or muted clay pick up the darker ridges in the landscape and add grounding depth to trim or nearby cabinetry.
