Wallpaper - Playful Vase IV

Designed by Cheryl Warrick, our Playful Vase IV wallpaper brings an expressive still life composition to the wall with bold graphic silhouettes and rich color contrast. A rounded turquoise vase rests on a warm orange striped tabletop against a deep midnight blue backdrop, holding arching stems with stylized circular botanical blooms and soft green leaves. The speckled, print-inspired visual texture across the vase and flora gives the motif an artisanal, illustrative character. As with all Wallism wallpapers, this design is custom made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

Because of its centered still life composition and distinct focal point, we see this wall mural working especially well on an accent wall in a dining room, living area, entryway, or home office. The large graphic scale of the vase and radiating stems commands immediate attention, making it an excellent backdrop behind a dining table, low credenza, or seating area. In spaces with good natural light, the contrast between the rich dark blue ground and the vivid turquoise and orange elements brings a lively, artistic presence to the room without needing an overly busy pattern repeat.

Styling it

When styling around this mural wallpaper, we suggest letting the strong geometry and graphic shapes lead the space. Modern furniture with clean, simple profiles allows the central artwork to stand out without competing for visual focus.

• Balance the bold saturated backdrop with warm natural wood furniture, such as walnut or warm oak, which complements the orange and turquoise tones.
• Keep surrounding textiles relatively quiet in solid neutral tones or simple woven textures to ground the vibrant tabletop stripes and botanical shapes.
• Incorporate subtle matte ceramic or glass decorative accents that echo the rounded silhouette of the vase.

Color combinations

The wallpaper features a bold palette built around deep navy blue, vibrant turquoise, warm tangerine orange, and leafy olive greens. To create a cohesive look across adjacent painted walls, consider pulling out the deep midnight blue for an enveloping, dramatic atmosphere, or opt for a soft, warm off-white that keeps the focus firmly on the mural's color blocks. For accent decor and trim, muted terracotta, dusty teal, and warm ochre naturally connect with the verified tones in the artwork.
