Wallpaper - Island Botanica I

Our Island Botanica I wallpaper, created by Yvette St. Amant, brings together bold monstera leaves against a vibrant pink backdrop. The design pairs painterly brushwork with graphic leaf silhouettes, highlighting lush tones of deep emerald, sage, and jade green across two large tropical fronds. The warm coral-pink ground creates an energetic color contrast that gives the botanical motif an expressive, modern character. Our wallpapers are made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions, printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, and designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of the generous scale of the monstera leaves and the confident background tone, we see this design working especially well as an accent wall in a living room, bedroom, or dining area. In a living room, placing the mural wallpaper behind a low sofa gives the large botanical shapes plenty of breathing room while anchoring the seating space. The vivid contrast also works nicely in a bright entryway or a creative home office, where the bold combination of green and pink sets an inviting, lively tone without overwhelming a compact area.

If you are styling a larger open space, give the wallpaper a relatively open, uninterrupted wall so the leaf forms and painterly details can be appreciated from across the room.

Styling it

To let the artwork take center stage, we suggest balancing the energetic pink and green palette with grounded, understated furniture. Simple silhouettes in warm wood tones, such as mid-tone oak or teak, echo the natural botanical theme while grounding the bright backdrop.

• Choose clean-lined furniture in neutral cream, taupe, or soft grey upholstery to keep the room feeling balanced and open.
• Introduce warm wood accents or woven natural materials to complement the tropical character of the foliage.
• Add small matte black or brushed metal details in lighting fixtures or table legs to provide crisp contrast against the soft, painted leaf edges.

Color combinations

The primary palette in our wallpaper centers on saturated coral-pink balanced by deep forest green, soft sage, and jade. For surrounding painted walls and woodwork, warm off-white, light linen, or muted greige will soften the transition and let the wallpaper stand out as the main focal point.

If you prefer a richer, more immersive color scheme, you can pull the deep forest green or olive tones from the leaves onto adjacent walls, cabinetry, or window treatments. For accent decor, touches of earthy terracotta or warm cream bridge the gap between the vivid pink ground and the surrounding room.
