Wallpaper - Yellow French Tulips

Our Yellow French Tulips wallpaper by artist Danhui Nai captures a graceful still life arrangement of vibrant sunflower yellow tulips, fresh green foliage, and a delicate hovering butterfly set against a soft, painterly textured backdrop. The oil paint aesthetic gives the composition an airy, classic botanical feel, with detailed dark stamens visible in the open blooms adding depth and contrast. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure according to your wall dimensions on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure that feels natural in any interior setting.

In the room

We love how this floral composition brings an uplifting yet peaceful character to private living spaces. In a bedroom, placing this design on the wall behind the headboard creates an inviting focal point that feels gentle rather than overwhelming. For a living room, it works wonderfully across an uninterrupted main wall where the open arrangement and botanical details have plenty of breathing room. The light, airy background keeps the space feeling open, allowing the warmer yellow and green tones of our mural wallpapers to brighten areas that receive soft or indirect natural light.

Styling it

The botanical heritage of this artwork pairs naturally with classic and English country interior styles. We suggest keeping surrounding furniture relatively quiet to let the floral still life stand out:

• Choose painted furniture in muted ivory or soft warm off-white tones to echo the delicate background of the design.
• Incorporate warm, natural wood finishes on low tables or shelving to ground the vibrant yellow blooms without competing with the painterly motif.
• Keep window dressings and larger upholstered pieces in solid, textured neutrals such as undyed woven fabrics to provide a calm counterbalance to the floral detail.

Color combinations

Our wallpaper centers on cheerful sunflower yellow and softer petal tones, balanced by rich botanical greens, hints of warm orange in the butterfly, and a light, textured neutral background. When selecting colors for adjacent walls or woodwork, we recommend drawing from the softer background tones with warm alabaster, gentle cream, or subtle biscuit hues. If you prefer a bolder contrast on moldings or accent furniture, a muted olive or soft moss green inspired by the tulip leaves creates a cohesive and organic palette throughout the room.
