Wallpaper - My Pumpkin Pie Recipe

Our My Pumpkin Pie Recipe wallpaper by Farida Zaman brings an illustrated culinary motif to the wall, combining painted dessert artwork with handwritten recipe notes. The design features a whole pumpkin pie on a soft blue pedestal stand alongside an individual slice served on a matching plate with a fork and a dollop of cream. Rendered with painterly brushwork and black script against a clean white background, the warm ochre, orange, and baked crust tones create an inviting focal point. Custom made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design is simple to hang and adds charm to any food-centered space.

In the room

We see this wallpaper working naturally as a feature wall in a kitchen, dining nook, or casual pantry area. The balance between open white space and large illustrative elements means the design feels light and readable without overwhelming a compact room. On a wall behind a dining table or above a kitchen counter area where wall space is uncluttered by high cabinetry, the recipe text and illustrations remain fully legible and engaging.

Styling it

To complement the playful illustrative character of the design, we recommend keeping surrounding furniture and fixtures warm and relaxed:

• Pair with warm natural woods like honey pine, ash, or light oak to echo the golden tones in the pie crust and warm up the crisp white background.
• Introduce soft periwinkle or slate blue accents in ceramics, painted chairs, or kitchen textiles to subtly draw out the blue cake stand and plate in the artwork.
• Choose simple matte black hardware or lighting details that mirror the handwritten recipe script without competing for attention.

Color combinations

The wallpaper features a palette of pumpkin orange, warm cinnamon, golden-brown crust, creamy white, soft sky blue, and black ink against a bright white background. Surrounding walls work well in warm off-white or soft cream to maintain an airy feel, while muted blue or soft butter yellow on adjacent surfaces can tie in with the illustrated tableware and bring out the design's sunny character.
