Wallpaper - Ginkgo Folia, Moonstone

Our Ginkgo Folia, Moonstone wallpaper brings together a repeating layered canopy of fan-shaped ginkgo leaves, drawn with delicate line work and fine veining. The soft, monochromatic palette relies on pale stone grey and muted off-white tones, creating subtle depth through overlapping silhouettes rather than sharp contrast. What we particularly appreciate about this design is how the organic fan shapes lend an elegant, fluid rhythm across the wall without overwhelming the space. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your wall dimensions, printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, and designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

Because of its gentle tonal range and continuous botanical repeat, we see this design working beautifully across an entire bedroom or living room as well as on a focused feature wall. In a bedroom, placing it behind a bedhead allows the gentle leaf motifs to frame the sleeping area softly. In dining spaces or home offices, the detailed line work rewards closer viewing while remaining quiet enough from across the room to let other interior elements breathe. The repeat also adapts well to smaller spaces like hallways or dressing rooms, where the pale tones keep the room feeling open.

Styling it

When styling around Ginkgo Folia, Moonstone, we like balancing the delicate graphic linework with tactile, solid materials. Darker wood furniture, such as walnut or smoked oak, creates a grounded contrast against the pale stone backdrop, while lighter blonde woods keep the overall mood soft and airy. Matte black or brushed bronze hardware picks up on the fine structural outlines of the leaves nicely. To maintain visual balance, we recommend choosing solid-colored upholstery or simple textured fabrics rather than competing large-scale patterns nearby.

Colour combinations

The motif itself is built on a quiet foundation of cool stone greys, soft misty greys, and pale off-white. To build a cohesive palette around it, we like combining the wallpaper with surrounding painted woodwork or walls in warm off-white, chalky charcoal, or deep forest green to draw out the botanical theme. Earthy mineral accents, such as slate, muted clay, or warm taupe, also sit naturally beside these soft grey tones without jarring against the monochrome leaf pattern.
