Wallpaper - Crocker Parchment, Earth Umber

Our Crocker Parchment, Earth Umber wallpaper brings a quiet, structured atmosphere to an interior through its subtle tiled parchment grid. Designed by Wallism Studio, the motif balances deep umber and charcoal tones with gentle tonal variations, giving the impression of paneled parchment squares with soft, weathered visual texture. The grid creates a rhythmic, architectural foundation across the wall without overwhelming the room with sharp contrast. Like all of our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure to fit your specific wall dimensions, printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical structure, and straightforward to hang.

In the room

We see this design working exceptionally well in spaces where you want a grounded, intimate feel, such as a bedroom, dining room, study, or living room. Because the tonal contrast across the grid is restrained, the wallpaper can easily wrap around all four walls of a room to create an enveloping backdrop. On a single accent wall behind a low headboard or a dining table, the paneled grid adds subtle geometric interest and architectural depth without competing with surrounding art or furnishings. In rooms with generous daylight, the soft shifts in the dark brown and charcoal tones become more noticeable, while under warmer evening lighting, the surface takes on a cozy, unified depth.

Styling it

When decorating around this wallpaper, we suggest leaning into warm, organic elements and clean silhouettes to balance the dark, structured backdrop.

• Pair the deep umber tones with warm woods such as walnut or stained oak, which echo the richness of the palette while adding warmth.
• Choose upholstered seating or bedding in lighter neutral textiles, such as ecru, oatmeal, or muted taupe, to introduce soft visual contrast against the dark walls.
• Introduce understated warm metal accents, such as aged brass or bronze hardware and light fixtures, which catch the light nicely against the matte, moody grid.

Color combinations

The wallpaper is built on deep earth umber, charcoal, and warm dark brown hues, accented with slightly lighter, dusty undertones where the visual texture shifts. To complement these shades, we recommend pairing the wall with surrounding trim or adjacent surfaces in warm ivory, mushroom, or soft taupe. If you want a more moody, monochromatic look, deep espresso, charcoal gray, or warm black create a seamless, atmospheric transition. Muted accent colors like terracotta, olive, or ochre in surrounding furnishings also sit comfortably alongside the earthy base.
