Wallpaper - Liria Eden, Moonstone

Our Liria Eden, Moonstone wallpaper by Marta Cortese brings an enchanting woodland scene to life in a delicate, monochromatic palette. Illustrated trees with graceful branches frame a landscape filled with leaping hares, resting deer, birds, and detailed foliage, all resting above an ornate decorative bottom border. Rendered in soft taupe, pale stone, and warm off-white tones, the motif offers a serene, tapestry-like look with fine linework and gentle depth. Made to measure and completely PVC-free, our wallpaper paper features a subtle surface structure and is designed to be straightforward to hang.

In the room

We see this mural wallpaper working beautifully across a wide bedroom wall behind a bed or as an expansive accent in a living room. Because the composition features prominent trees on either side and delicate wildlife movement throughout the center, giving it a relatively uninterrupted wall allows the full pictorial landscape to unfold. The low-contrast, muted tones make it equally suited for a dining room or nursery, where the soft palette adds visual intrigue without overpowering the space. In rooms with generous natural daylight, the intricate details of the foliage, birds, and linework come forward with understated clarity.

Styling it

To complement the gentle storybook elegance of the design, we recommend pairing it with furniture and textiles that echo its soft, organic quality:

• Choose painted furniture in creamy off-whites or soft neutrals to keep the overall atmosphere light and cohesive, or introduce warm, pale wood tones to naturally harmonize with the forest motif.
• Keep surrounding upholstery and large textiles simple and quietly textured, such as smooth woven fabrics or clean drapes, allowing the illustrated wall mural to serve as the main decorative focal point.
• Incorporate subtle aged metal accents, like antique brass or brushed bronze lighting, which pair gracefully with the classical, tapestry-inspired character of the bottom border and line art.

Color combinations

The design itself relies on a sophisticated palette of pale moonstone grey, muted warm taupe, soft mushroom, and light alabaster. When painting adjacent walls or selecting trim, warm off-white and gentle stone hues blend naturally with the background. For a richer, more defined contrast, surrounding woodwork or cabinetry painted in a deeper mushroom taupe or warm greige anchors the room while highlighting the lighter elements in the scene.
