Wallpaper - Liria Eden, Antique Olive

Our Liria Eden, Antique Olive wallpaper, created by designer Marta Cortese, depicts an enchanting woodland glade alive with running hares, resting deer, perched birds, and stylized flora under a leafy forest canopy. Rendered in a refined tonal palette of deep olive greens, muted khaki, and warm earthy taupe, the illustrated mural balances delicate botanical line work with rich silhouettes in the background. Along the base, an ornamental floral border anchors the scene with classical, tapestry-like charm. Like all our wallpapers, this design is made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical paper structure.

In the room

We love how this panoramic wall mural creates an immersive, storytelling atmosphere across an entire wall. In a dining room or living room, giving the design a wide, uninterrupted wall allows the full woodland sequence, from the tall spreading trees down to the leaping hares and lower decorative border, to unfold naturally without being broken up. It also brings wonderful visual warmth to a primary bedroom behind a headboard or a cozy study where the intricate details can be appreciated up close. Because the palette relies on close, harmonized olive and taupe tones rather than sharp contrast, the wallpaper wraps a room in a deeply comforting, grounded character without overpowering the space.

Styling it

When styling around this design, we suggest letting the rich botanical illustration serve as the main decorative element in the room. Furniture with clean, classic lines in warm woods, such as walnut or mid-toned oak, complements the earthy undertones of the olive backdrop beautifully. Unfussy upholstery in natural woven textures like oatmeal, cream, or warm beige keeps the focus on the woodland scenery while maintaining a welcoming, cohesive aesthetic. Soft brass or muted bronze accents on lighting and hardware echo the vintage, tapestry-inspired mood of the artwork.

Color combinations

The wallpaper is built around a sophisticated range of antique olive green, deep forest khaki, soft sage, and warm taupe-gray highlights. When selecting surrounding wall paint and decor, warm off-whites, creamy linen tones, and soft parchment shades create a gentle, balanced transition. For a moodier, enveloping look, pulling a deep olive or muted lichen tone from the background onto adjacent walls or painted trim accentuates the immersive forest feel.
