Wallpaper - Ticking Awning Stripes, Peach

Our Ticking Awning Stripes wallpaper in Peach, created by RNM Arts, pairs classic vertical stripe rhythm with delicate ticking details and a soft woven-looking background texture. Wide bands in warm, muted peach are overlaid with fine stitched-look lines, set against a creamy off-white ground featuring subtle speckled and cross-hatch visual texture. The balanced, medium-scale repeat gives the stripe a gentle, relaxed presence rather than a rigid graphic line. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, this design brings an easy architectural structure to any interior wall.

In the room

The vertical orientation of our striped mural wallpapers naturally draws the eye upwards, making this design particularly effective in rooms with standard or lower ceiling heights where a sense of height is welcome. In a living room or bedroom, the balanced repeat and gentle contrast allow it to work across an entire room without feeling overwhelming, or as a focal point behind a bed or low-backed sofa. Because the pattern relies on soft peach and warm cream rather than harsh contrasting tones, it also sits comfortably on broken wall areas around windows, doorways, and built-in alcoves in hallways or dining spaces.

Styling it

We would pair this striped wallpaper with quiet, tactile furnishings that let the pattern's textile character lead the room. Painted timber furniture in soft chalky neutrals or warm off-white complements the cream backdrop, while unlacquered brass accents or matte dark metal hardware can add definition against the softer peach tones. Natural materials such as plain woven wool or neutral linen upholstery sit comfortably alongside the stitched ticking aesthetic without competing for visual attention.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is built on a palette of warm peach and light cream, accented by softer apricot ticking lines and gentle sand-toned speckles. To create a cohesive look across adjacent painted walls, woodwork, and ceilings, consider pairing it with:

• Soft warm whites and cream tones that match the background ground
• Pale terracotta or muted blush accents that echo the warmth of the peach stripes
• Gentle sage green or warm olive on skirting or trim to introduce a natural, complementary contrast
• Deep umber or soft charcoal on hardware and light fixtures to ground the lighter palette
