Wallpaper - White Cottage Geraniums Sq

Our White Cottage Geraniums wallpaper brings the quiet charm of a still life into the home, featuring three rustic terracotta pots brimming with white blooms and lush green foliage. Designed by Julia Purinton, the composition rests on a warm wooden ledge against a gently textured backdrop of soft blue, beige, and earthy sienna. What we particularly like about this design is the painterly brushwork, which gives the flowers and clay pots an authentic, traditional feel that adds instant warmth without overwhelming the room. Like all our wall murals, this design is made-to-measure to your exact wall dimensions and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure.

In the room

Because of its still life composition, we find this mural wallpaper works exceptionally well where the wooden ledge can sit naturally above existing architectural features or low furniture. It feels right at home on a feature wall in a dining room, placed behind a dining table or sideboard, where the horizontal balance of the three pots grounds the space. In a living room or entryway, we would give it a central, uninterrupted wall so the full width of the artwork can be appreciated. The softer contrast of the background also makes it an inviting choice for a country kitchen dining nook, creating an intimate, cottage-inspired atmosphere.

Styling it

To complement the heritage feel of the painting, we suggest pairing this wallpaper with traditional or French country interior elements. Natural, warm wood furniture, such as a rustic pine dining table or a dark wood console, creates a lovely visual dialogue with the surface depicted in the artwork. Painted furniture in muted cream, putty, or soft grey also balances the painted aesthetic nicely. We would keep decorative accessories relatively simple and rustic, perhaps incorporating handmade earthenware, weathered stone vessels, or woven baskets to echo the earthy textures within the motif.

Colour combinations

The palette is built around crisp white geranium petals and deep foliage greens, set against warm terracotta, sienna brown, and a muted wash of beige and dusty light blue. When choosing paint for surrounding walls or woodwork, soft stone, warm beige, or chalky off-whites will create a seamless, cohesive look. If you prefer a subtle contrast, picking up the cool, pale blue from the background on painted doors or window frames brings out the freshness of the floral blooms while keeping the overall room calm and balanced.
