Wallpaper - Island Botanica II

Our Island Botanica II wallpaper by Yvette St. Amant brings a bold botanical focus to the wall, pairing broad, layered tropical foliage with an energetic coral-pink background. Painted-looking brushstrokes define the lush green and soft teal-blue leaves, giving the motif an artistic, hand-crafted character with clear depth and movement. The high visual contrast between the vivid backdrop and the verdant plant forms creates an immediate graphic presence without feeling overly complex. Printed to your custom measurements, our wallpapers are PVC-free and feature a subtle physical structure in the paper that complements the expressive brushwork.

In the room

Because of the vibrant coral pink backdrop and the generous scale of the botanical leaves, we see this wall mural working particularly well as an accent wall in a living room, dining area, or bedroom. Placing the design on a main wall behind a headboard or dining table gives the complete botanical cluster space to stand out as a central feature. In open-plan living spaces or an entryway, it immediately sets a warm, cheerful tone while anchoring the surrounding area.

If you are working with a room that receives plenty of natural daylight, the lively pink tone and layered green hues feel especially crisp and luminous. For slightly smaller spaces such as a dressing room or guest bedroom, keeping the wallpaper to a single feature wall ensures the strong colour balance adds interest without overwhelming the room.

Styling it

To let the expressive motif and vibrant coral background take centre stage, we suggest balancing the wall with relatively calm furniture and tactile materials:

• Pair the wallpaper with light wood furniture, such as natural ash, pale oak, or light rattan, which harmonises with the botanical theme while keeping the overall atmosphere bright and airy.
• Choose neutral upholstery and textiles in soft ecru, warm off-white, or unbleached linen to create a quiet, grounded contrast against the vivid wall mural.
• Introduce understated brass or matte black accents in lighting fixtures and mirror frames to echo the sharp graphic contours of the leaves.
• Add live potted plants around the space to naturally extend the lush botanical greens from the wall into the room.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on an expressive palette of rich coral pink, deep forest green, olive, sage, and pale teal-blue. When selecting paint shades for adjoining walls, trims, or cabinetry, soft off-whites, warm creams, and pale sand tones provide a gentle, balanced backdrop that allows the wallpaper to lead.

For a more cohesive botanical look, you can also pull out the lighter sage green or soft teal from the foliage to use on painted interior woodwork, skirting boards, or accent furniture. If you prefer a richer, more graphic contrast, deep charcoal or dark olive green works beautifully on smaller architectural details.
