Wallpaper - The Butterfly Effect

Our The Butterfly Effect wallpaper brings together lush green foliage, soft pink blossoms, and delicately patterned butterflies set across a textured blush pink backdrop. Twisting vines introduce organic movement through the composition, while the watercolour-style detail on the wings gives the motif a fine, artistic character. The balance of fresh green leaves and gentle pastel tones creates an open, whimsical garden scene that feels both considered and tranquil. Produced made-to-measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design is simple to hang and easy to integrate into a variety of spaces.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well in a bedroom, where the soft blush background and gentle botanical movement create a restful backdrop behind a bed or across an entire room. Because the repeat combines flowing foliage with lighter negative space, it sits comfortably on larger uninterrupted walls without feeling visually heavy. In a dining room or a dedicated dressing room, the delicate scale of the butterflies and leaves brings decorative character that remains understated around everyday furniture. The pastel tones also lend themselves nicely to powder rooms or bathrooms, introducing a touch of garden charm to more compact areas.

Styling it

To balance the organic vines and floral detail, we suggest pairing this wallpaper with furniture that has clean, understated silhouettes. Warm mid-tone woods or painted furniture in muted off-white allow the pink and green palette to stand out without competing for attention.

When choosing textiles, smooth woven fabrics in quiet neutral tones keep the focus on the wall mural while preserving the serene, airy atmosphere of the space.

Colour combinations

The design centres on blush pink, soft pastel accents, and fresh botanic greens. For surrounding walls, woodwork, and larger elements, we like combining it with chalky off-whites, warm stone, or muted neutral greys that echo the softness of the background. If you want to draw out the foliage, deeper forest greens or muted sage tones across adjacent trims, cabinetry, or cushions create a grounded, natural contrast.
