Wallpaper - East Beach

East Beach brings an expressive, impressionist coastal landscape into the home with expressive brushstrokes and a vibrant palette. Created by artist Jeanette Vertentes, our design captures the dynamic atmosphere where sky, ocean, and sandy shore meet. Layered sky blues, deep ultramarine, sandy ochres, and soft touches of blush and lilac blend across the horizon, creating a painterly horizon that feels both tranquil and visually lively. The broad, layered application gives the impression of ocean tides washing over the shoreline, balancing open space with rich artistic detail. Like all of our wallpapers, it is custom made to measure and printed on PVC-free paper with a subtle paper structure.

In the room

In a living room or holiday home sitting area, we love using this mural wallpaper across a wide, main wall. Because the composition stretches horizontally from the soft sand tones at the base to the deep blue sea and light sky above, giving it an open wall allows the full gradient of the landscape to breathe. Placing a low sofa against the lower third anchors the room naturally, aligning with the sandy foreground while leaving the horizon and open sky completely unobstructed.

The design also works wonderfully on a wall opposite large windows. Daylight highlights the layered nuances within the blue water and pale clouds, drawing out the contrast between the deeper sea tones and the lighter, sun-bleached beach areas.
