Wallpaper - Sphere II

Our Sphere II wallpaper brings together abstract expressive brushwork, soft colour washes, and graphic geometric accents in a layered, contemporary composition created by Kathy Ferguson. The design balances broad fields of lilac, cornflower blue, and vibrant magenta against chalky sage green and warm sunshine yellow. Fine sketched linework, soft spatter effects, and textured rectangular blocks add visual depth across the surface, giving the impression of an original mixed-media painting. Made to measure on our PVC-free paper with a subtle surface structure, it offers a distinctive artistic focal point that brings energy and modern character to any interior.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well as an accent wall in a living room, dining space, or bedroom where the full expressive composition can be appreciated without feeling crowded. Because the artwork features distinct horizontal linear groupings alongside larger vertical washes of colour, it anchors a wall behind a low sofa, a dining sideboard, or a minimalist bed frame very effectively.

In rooms with plenty of natural daylight, the subtle tonal shifts between the lilac background and pale yellow highlights become more pronounced. In more compact settings, such as a study or dressing room, using this wallpaper on a single feature wall lets the vibrant colour accents create a creative, uplifting atmosphere while keeping the surrounding space open.

Styling it

To let the artwork remain the clear hero in the space, we suggest pairing it with clean-lined furniture and restrained accents. Contemporary pieces with simple silhouettes in pale ash, light oak, or painted off-white finishes sit comfortably alongside the vibrant palette without competing for attention.

Textiles in washed linen, soft cotton, or bouclé in neutral ivory or soft grey help ground the room. To subtly reflect the design's playful nature, you could introduce small decorative accents, such as ceramics or cushions, that echo the muted sage or soft yellow tones found in the print.

Colour combinations

The design features a rich palette of lilac, cornflower blue, magenta, sunshine yellow, soft olive green, and charcoal grey.

When choosing paint colours for adjoining walls and woodwork, we recommend pulling from the quieter tones in the wallpaper. A warm off-white, soft chalky grey, or delicate pale lilac on adjacent surfaces will create a cohesive, serene backdrop. If you prefer a bolder contrast, styling surrounding elements in deep charcoal or midnight blue will draw out the darker graphic line details and accentuate the vibrant pink and yellow elements.
