Created by Silvia Vassileva, our Glazed Pot I wallpaper captures a rustic still life of five ceramic vessels set against a warm, painterly backdrop. The composition balances rounded and slender pottery forms across the horizontal plane, rendered in rich tones of burnt orange, deep brown, terracotta red, and ochre with subtle blue and dark decorative motifs. The painted texture in the background blocks gives the entire scene an artisanal, gallery-inspired presence. In the room

Because of its horizontal arrangement and distinct visual weight, we see this design working especially well as a focal feature in a dining room, kitchen, or living room. The artwork creates the atmosphere of a classic still life painting enlarged to wall scale, making it ideal for the wall along a dining table or above a low credenza. In an entryway or study, the warm, earthy palette sets an inviting, grounded mood. We suggest placing it on a relatively clear wall so the silhouettes and painterly details of the individual pots remain fully visible.

Styling it

To complement the rustic, painterly character of the wallpaper, we would keep the surrounding decor natural and grounded. Dark or honey-toned wood furniture, such as an oak or walnut dining table, naturally harmonises with the rich terracotta and brown pottery vessels.
