Wallpaper - Columbus Ohio Skyline Concrete

Created by Michael Tompsett, our Columbus Ohio Skyline Concrete wallpaper captures the architectural profile of Columbus through a bold graphic silhouette set against a textured concrete-look backdrop. The city skyline is rendered in deep charcoal grey with expressive paint drips and ink splatters running along the base, creating an artistic contrast with the pale, weathered neutral ground. As with all our wall murals, we produce this design made-to-measure to fit your exact wall dimensions on PVC-free paper.

In the room

We see this design working particularly well on a feature wall in a living room, study, home office, or home library. Because the skyline anchors the lower half of the composition and leaves open space across the top, the wallpaper gives a room a grounded architectural feel without overwhelming the space. In an open-plan living area or study, placing the design behind a desk or a low-profile sofa allows the skyline silhouette and detailed drips to stay visible above the furniture line.

Styling it

The graphic clarity and industrial feel of this mural make it well suited to contemporary, minimalist, and modern interior styles. We would pair the design with clean-lined furniture in matte black metal or dark stained wood to echo the charcoal silhouette of the buildings. For larger soft furnishings, textured grey or unbleached neutral fabrics complement the raw look of the concrete background, keeping the focus squarely on the cityscape.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper centres around a palette of deep charcoal grey and soft, mottled stone neutrals. When coordinating paint colours for adjacent walls and woodwork, we recommend continuing the warm concrete undertones with soft pebble grey or light off-white. For a more dramatic, moody scheme, deep charcoal or graphite paint on nearby trim creates a seamless, tailored connection to the skyline motif.
