Wallpaper - Holiday Poinsettia

Our Holiday Poinsettia wallpaper brings an expressive botanical study to life with bold, fluid brushwork and rich colour. Created by Kristy Rice, the design centres on a generous poinsettia bloom painted with lively red petals, soft pink gradients, and a vivid green heart. Deep green foliage and fine dark blue ink linework frame the petals, set against a lightly textured white ground that gives the artwork breathing space. We produce this design made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, making it straightforward to hang while giving your room an artful, seasonal presence.

In the room

With its expansive focal bloom, we see this wall mural working particularly well on an uninterrupted feature wall where the full painted composition can be appreciated from a distance. In a living room, placing the design behind a low sofa allows the spreading petals and botanical linework to remain completely visible. In a bedroom, it creates a striking focal point behind a headboard, bringing warmth and color into the space without needing heavy surrounding decoration. The open white backdrop keeps the composition airy, meaning it sits comfortably in both bright, sunlit rooms and quieter corners where you want a concentrated splash of ruby and emerald tones.

Styling it

We suggest balancing the expressive energy of this mural wallpaper with simple, grounding furnishings that let the painterly artwork lead the space.

• Choose furniture with clean silhouettes in warm natural wood or neutral painted finishes to keep the visual focus on the central bloom.
• Introduce soft furnishings such as wool throws or textured cushions in muted berry tones or deep forest green to echo the botanical palette.
• Keep wall decor minimal on adjacent walls, allowing the dark blue ink accents and delicate linework room to stand out.

Colour combinations

The design itself is built on a vibrant foundation of rich red, soft pink, vivid green, and deep blue set against a crisp white backdrop. To complement these tones, we suggest pairing the wallpaper with warm off-white or soft linen shades on surrounding painted walls to preserve the open feel of the artwork. If you prefer a richer interior scheme, pulling out the deep green or ink blue from the leaves for woodwork, skirting boards, or cabinetry creates an intentional, cohesive frame around the mural.
