Wallpaper - Santorini II

Our Santorini II wallpaper, created by Nikita Jariwala, captures the charm of Cycladic architecture through fluid blue ink and expressive brushwork against a warm off-white background. The composition brings together stepped hillside dwellings, domed rooftops, winding stairways, and a classic windmill outline, balanced by soft, watercolour-inspired washes that give the architectural lines movement. Made-to-measure on PVC-free paper with a subtle physical surface structure, this design brings a relaxed, Mediterranean character to the wall.

In the room

We see this mural wallpaper working particularly well as an accent wall in a living room, dining space, or bedroom. Because the composition builds upward with charming village details, giving it a relatively uninterrupted wall allows the full architectural scene to unfold naturally. In an entryway or hallway, the crisp blue and white contrast creates an inviting focal point without overwhelming narrower proportions.

Styling it

To complement the relaxed coastal spirit of this design, we would look to simple, organic interior elements:

• Pair the blue and white palette with light, natural timber such as ash or pale oak, and textured woven accents to echo the easygoing Mediterranean feel.
• Keep surrounding furniture lines clean and low-profile so the detailed linework of the village remains the central focus in the room.
• Introduce neutral linen upholstery and simple ceramic pieces in matte or unglazed finishes to balance the fluidity of the painted ink.

Colour combinations

The wallpaper is defined by rich cobalt, ink blue, and softer cornflower washes set on a warm off-white base. For surrounding walls and woodwork, soft chalky whites, warm alabaster, and gentle sandy beige provide a harmonious transition. If you want to lean into more contrast, a deep navy accent on adjacent woodwork or trim grounds the design beautifully.
