Wallpaper - Summer Bloom I

Our Summer Bloom I wallpaper presents a vibrant, painterly close-up of a blooming gerbera daisy created by Albena Hristova. Large, layered petals in rich pink and magenta tones radiate from a detailed central disc of soft pink, warm amber, and deep plum, captured with visible, expressive brushwork on a textured, warm neutral background of ochre, peach, and soft beige. This floral design functions as an artistic wall mural that brings painterly energy and bold scale into an interior. Like all our wallpapers, it is custom made-to-measure, PVC-free, and printed on paper with a subtle physical surface structure.

In the room

Because of the oversized botanical motif, we see this design working particularly well on an accent wall where the full bloom has room to command the space. In a bedroom, placing it behind a headboard creates an immediate artistic focal point without overwhelming the rest of the room. It also brings warmth and character to a living room wall behind a low-backed sofa or within a bright dining area where the painted details can be appreciated up close.

On wider, uninterrupted walls, the painterly composition and soft background shading have enough breathing room to feel expansive rather than enclosed. In smaller rooms such as a dressing room or guest bedroom, using this wall mural on a single feature wall adds colour and visual interest while keeping the surrounding walls calm.

Styling it

We recommend balancing the bold pinks and expressive brushwork of the flower with grounded, understated furniture. Simple silhouettes in natural, warm woods like oak or painted furniture in warm stone or off-white help keep the focus squarely on the floral artwork.

For textiles and upholstery, matte fabrics in muted neutrals, soft blush, or unbleached cotton complement the warm canvas texture of the background. Introducing subtle accents in brushed brass or warm ceramic decor ties back to the golden-amber highlights within the flower's centre.

Colour combinations

The motif features rich shades of rose pink, magenta, and plum paired with warm undertones of ochre, peach, and soft oatmeal in the background.

For adjacent walls and woodwork, warm off-whites, creamy parchment, or soft stone tones create a harmonious, seamless backdrop. If you prefer to draw out the floral tones, accents in muted blush, dusty terracotta, or soft sage green on cushions and throws pair naturally with the central petals and delicate green stem.
